ANNOUNCEMENTS: 27 - 28 March 21.   Palm Sunday
Palm Sunday Greeting,  Good Afternoon/Morning and Welcome to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Community. This weekend we celebrate Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord with Fr. Eliseus as our celebrant. Our celebration of Palm Sunday this year will look a little different from previous years, but we are very grateful to be able to celebrate together in our church. As you can see, the palms are in front of the Altar and we are not beginning with a procession on the patio. Father will bless the palms during the Mass & they will be distributed by the Ushers at the end of Mass. The Readings for this Mass are on pages 7-13 in English and pages 19-25 in Spanish in your Missal if you would like to follow along. At the time of the Gospel, we will be reading the Passion and if it is too long for you to stand, we invite you sit. A FEW REMINDERS: We have chairs on the patio for overflow and for those of us who are not comfortable with being inside the Church right now.  Children must continue to be accompanied by an adult to use the restroom in order to ensure that the restroom is properly sanitized.  Please be respectful of those trying to pray quietly before Mass. (10:30 Mass only) Don’t forget that the phone is very sensitive to noise which can interfere with the sound on the Live Stream.  We have received a New Protocol regarding the reception of Holy Communion. Bishop Rojas has reinstated the Reception of Holy Communion on the tongue. However, we ask that those of you receiving on the tongue remain standing in your pew until the end of the line of those receiving in the hand so the Ushers will recognize you and guide you from the back to the front to receive Communion on the tongue. The Directives for the Social Distance of 6ft., the wearing of Masks and the use of hand sanitizer before receiving Communion remain in place.  Announcements for Palm Sunday, 27 - 28 March 21  USHERS: NO Second Collection, We still have Missals, dated March 28 th through May 29 th , in the back of the church if anyone is still interested.
